Great addition to any PLO book library

There really isn't all that much Pot Limit Omaha literature out there. With his 4 books on PLO, Jeff Hwang has basically doubled the amount of good written word on the subject (maybe more since his books are huge!). I have been playing PLO on and off for years and each time a Jeff Hwang book comes out my knowledge and ability increases dramatically. This book is great value and you won't be disappointed.

PLO is a heck of a ride

I have both Vol I and now Vol II. Vol II provides a little more nuanced play and ideas. Common themes in both book are aggression and playing in position. If i had been at the table against Jeff and folded the same hands his opponents did i'd be plenty mad right now, knowing I'd been hornswaggled out of a number of winning hands. Jeff makes it seem easy, yet he cautions us when its time to put on the brakes. Good book.

Very good but...

I liked this book. I like all Jeff''s books. He does a great job of breaking down hands and plays that I haven't been able to dissect. While I do like reading about the hands and his thought process, I do wish there was more written in each section. Having two or three pages of explanation then 85 example hands seems a bit lop sided. I wish there was more explanation of each section: why they are important, what to consider when in those situations, etc.
Also, perhaps I didn't research enough but I didn't realize that the book was written about 6 handed on-line play until the book arrived in the mail. Some of the material may not transfer over to full tables, though I'm sure some will.
Overall I did really like the book. More explanation and application to full ring games would make this a perfect book.
